Balijipeta is a small village in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh. As per few historians it is said original Balija caste people were migrated from this village.
Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Balijipeta is very famous in Vizianagaram district. It was built by Barigeda Venkata China Narasaiah in 1869.
The koneru beside this temple is known as tirupathi koneru. Interestingly most of the family members in this village use 'Venkata' in their names.
