Sri Uma Kotilingeswara Swami Temple - Punyagiri is surrounded by thick green forest. You can have lots of fun enjoying in waterfalls. This temple is very old and just 3 km from srungavarapu kota.

As per Stalapurana Pandavas stayed here during their period of vanavas. On the way to hill you will find Chinaputturdara (waterfall)

on one side of waterfall there is a cave where three shiva lingams are installed on which the water falls throughout the year.

People perform last rituals (pinda pradanam, astikala nimajjanam) here for their family members.

Caution : As it is a forest area there are so many monkeys around temple premises. so always be careful with your belongings and maximum try to avoid carrying food items.
