Sri Neelakanteswara Swamy Temple – Narayanapuram

Neelakanteswara Swamy Temple  in Narayanapuram is just beside river Swarnamukhi of Vizianagaram district.

It is built in 1010 AD by King of Eastern ganga dynasty (probably Ananta Varma Choda Ganga Deva). Present Neelkantheshwara, Sangameshwara, Mallikarjuna and Naleshwara shrines are this temple complex. Endala Mallikarjuna deity got missed during floods.

It is said these temples have 99,99,999 shiva lingas sculptured on these temples. These temples are full of splendid Art.
